PETROSUS HSE POLICY

Our business success is dependent on the quality of our products and services and the protection of our people and the environment. As such we believe that the safety of our people and environment is of utmost importance. Our commitment to safety will minimize the impact on the environment, control risks to our employees, and maintain safe work practices. We are therefore devoted and committed to ensuring human health, operational safety, environmental protection and community goodwill. As such all employees have a responsibility to take personal ownership of their own safety and the safety of others. This commitment is in the best interests of our customers, employees, partners and the communities in which we live and work.
It is the policy of Petrosus to plan and execute all its activities in such a manner that:
- Protects the health, safety and security of our people at all times;
- Achieves a zero health, safety and environmental incident every day, all the time;
- Sets Quality & HSE performance objectives, measure results, assess and continually improve processes, services and product quality, through the use of an effective management system;
- Plans for, responds to and recovers from any emergency, crisis and business disruption;
- Reduces the impact of our operations on the environment through pollution prevention, and the reduction and recycling of waste;
- Provides training and competency of our employee workforce
As part of the HSE policy, we have an overall Quality Assurance Plan which includes various emergency response and contingency plans. These include:
- Emergency fire response plans.
- Medical Evacuation plans.
- First Aid Plans.
As part of the Quality Assurance Plan, inspections, audits and reviews will be carried out at key milestones and frequent periodic intervals in the operations. Management Reviews will also be carried out in order to ensure the effectiveness and suitability of the policy.
